Re: Buying A Bass? Maybe!

As Cyril mentioned, virtual amps are a great option, especially if the bass is primarily for recording purposes. Alongside Amplitube and tons of other VSTi's, TSE B.O.D is a great free plugin that I use on MIDI bass tracks and it results in better sound quality. But for practice purposes, having an ...

Re: Buying A Bass? Maybe!

<r>Jazz basses have thinner necks than P-basses, though I have never played a Jazz bass. I moved from an SG-style electric guitar to a 5-string P-bass style bass without any problems but having to get used to the wider fret spacing.<br/> For starter amps, I recommend a Roland Cube. I have one and I ...

Re: HLMmusic ("Act Natural")

Great vocals and lyrics! I can really relate to this. I really enjoyed the verses. At first, I didn't like the chorus; it felt like a letdown. Two listens later, that feeling changed and I can honestly say that I enjoy it. Keep up the good work!

Dammit! I've been looking forward to this for the past few days. ;_; Oh well..
Does this mean that Sziget won't upload some videos from the show later on?

Re: Sum 41 live show online! :)

It'll be 10 pm here :) I've found a way to record it. I hope everything will work well... If someone wants to record it as well, you're welcome to do it, I don't really trust the program I'm using (I tested on another show and it seems that it works, I'm just not sur how it will react to a full-leng...

Re: Yellowcard

'Surface of The Sun' & 'Sleep in the Snow' are my favorites (besides the songs previously released). Why do you guys think the end of 'Ten' was cut off? That ruined the song for me.

Re: MUSE "Survival" - New Song Out Now

I really liked the orchestral parts, but not the dubstep, not one bit. I'm still going to give this album a listen when it's released.

Hopeless is a great label, but I hope they sign to Epitaph.
Honestly I think they'll stay independent for now.

BIME video is never going to come out. Realistically the video will probably come out early September. ...ok. Why was it necessary to start a new thread for your rant? Couldn't you just post it in the BIME thread? Anyway, I still think it will be released late August, though it doesn't really matte...

Re: My new stuff, new songs, etc.

For a track titled 'Hope', the beginning and the first half of the solo were really sad! This needs vocals. I didn't like the ending chimes(?); I don't think they serve a purpose. I don't know if that was the feel you're seeking, but until the solo came in it was just on one level without much dynam...

I really enjoyed listening to "Narcissism", I think it's the best one. :glad: "Lights" has this weird vibe that I'm not sure how I feel about. The guitar tone in "Magnetic Fields" and "The Beginning" was great. If you want more comments/plays, may I suggest po...

Re: Sweaty Petersburg

Some of this makes me so happy, and some of it is really disappointing. Hearing that we'll never get I'm Not the One or What We're All About live saddens me. The fact that we'll never get Happiness Machine again is devastating, as is borderline confirmation that Jessica Kill won't be up for a while...

Re: Sick Of Everyone Fullband Cover (Please Review!)

If you're only playing only guitars in this, that doesn't make this a "full band cover". Just say "dual guitar cover" or "instrumental". It's more honest, IMHO. (Sorry, I just hate it when people play only 1 instrument and put MIDIs then call it "full band" :...
