He uses TWO Marshalls, a Marshall Super Bass 100W head and a Marshall JMP Mk2 Master Model 100W Lead head (that must be his 'custom amp'. AFAIK it's a prototype, maybe of the Slash Sig head... It really matters what kind of music do you want to play. And how much you want/can spend.
If it must be cheap, try to find some used ones, for example an used Fender FM212. It's a good amp, for little money, and loud enough to play in a band, too.
And stay away from built-in DSP effects...

You can't blow your amp, just the speakers. Or use an EQ and lower the lows... And listen carefully to your amp, if it sounds strange, lower the vol.

I did that on my Squier Strat... The sticker are now removed, it wasn't easy but it worked. I think it depenst on the glue, too. So theoretically it shuldn't be a problem. Maybe if your guitar has nitro finish...
