Deryck
A Story to Go With Deryck's Halloween Pictures

Last week, we got 4 photos of Deryck leaving a club in Hollywood dressed as the Nurse Joker (as posted in the gallery), but none of us could figure out quite why Deryck was carrying a guitar. Finally, we have a full explanation: Deryck was performing with his wife and Todd Morse (of The Operation MD and H2O) at the private Halloween party he was hosting.

HQ Video of Deryck Performing "In Too Deep" with Avril Lavigne

Webisodes from Avril Lavigne's Asian tour in September are gradually being posted on YouTube, and the latest one features a professionally recorded video of Deryck and Avril's duet of "In Too Deep." Check out the video here. Watch for Deryck's entrance; it's priceless.

Update on the NEW song!

Cone has confirmed to us that the new song appearing on the Best Of album is NOT the b-side Sum 41 has been working on. It is a totally new song recorded just for the Best Of album. The song is still untitled.

TNS' Brand New Gallery: The Launch

OK, so for us, this gallery is about 3 months in the making, but for you guys our gallery is BRAND NEW. Or almost brand new if you've been super sneaky and checking links for the past couple of days.

Anyway, I am proud to present my baby, our new 5000+ photo gallery. (Many thanks to Nic, who set up the gallery, and V, who formatted it.)

Let's launch our gallery with the photos of Deryck leaving a Halloween party about a week ago with his wife.

Sum 41
Official Japanese "Best Of" Album to be Released on November 26

It's (pretty much) official! As posted by DW_60 a few days ago, Sum 41 does appear to be releasing a "Best of Sum 41" album called "8 Years of Blood, Sake, and Tears: The Best of Sum 41 2000-2008" on November 26th (though some versions of Amazon are saying the date is November 5th). The CD will feature every Sum 41 single officially released in Japan as well as two live tracks, "Subject to Change," and a new song called "Steering Wheels" (that mystery b-side Cone told us about months ago, perhaps?). The DVD includes every official Sum 41 video except "Handle This" and "Some Say." This has been announced on both Sum41.jp and Amazon Japan.

New Q&A from Cone: Hints About Road to Ruin and New Album

Cone answered some new Q&A a couple of days ago (not expecting it, we didn't notice). He answered some pretty generic (and kind of awkward) questions about the Congo DVD and the hidden track (which was apparently confusing someone), but he also hinted at new Sum 41 stuff to come.

When asked whether or not the band still caused the mayhem they used to, Cone said Road to Ruin is their current show and shows what they're doing now, suggesting we can expect some more Road to Ruins in the future.

A question about certain songs from Chuck not being played live brought out an interesting comment about the current focus being new music. :)

Check out the full answers here.
